Ruby Darlene Scroggins 1968 - 2012
Mrs. Ruby Darlene Scroggins, age 44, passed away March 20, 2012, in Nacogdoches County, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born February 24, 1968, in San Augustine, Texas, to Mac Howard and Ruby (Ard) Howard.
She had worked in the San Augustine ISD for several years in the cafeteria and later as a custodian. She then went to work for Walmart's in Nacogdoches. She was a member of the Denning Volunteer Fire Department and was a former member of the San Augustine and Chireno VFD.
She is survived by her husband Tony Scroggins [51027] of San Augustine; daughters Barbara Holy and husband Jason of San Augustine, Tasha Rogers and husband Cody of Nacogdoches; son Chris Scroggins and wife Kim of Kirbyville; grandchildren Madison and Caleb Holy, Keely and Carter Scroggins, Zoey Rogers; mother Ruby Howard of San Augustine; sisters Shannon Martinez of Huntington, Misty Howard of Lufkin; brothers Doug Howard of Killeen, Dody Howard of Chireno, Jamie Howard of Nacogdoches. She was preceded in death by her father Mac Howard and grandson Christopher Anthony Scroggins III.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, Roberts Community Baptist Church, 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Ardis Mosby officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012, 5:00 til 8:00 p.m., Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dickerson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Scroggins, Christopher Scroggins, Doug Howard, Dody Howard, Mark Howard and Jose Yanez. Honorary pallbearers will be Mario Martinez, Jason Holy, Jamie Howard and Cody Rogers.
